A 13-inch Pro with Intel and the Magic Keyboard

The mid-2020 model is part of the last Intel generation of the MacBook Pro before the switch to Apple chips. It has a 13-inch Retina display, the Touch Bar, Thunderbolt 3 ports and the Magic Keyboard. Inside are 10th-generation Intel processors, mostly Core i5, sometimes i7.

Today it appeals mainly to two groups: people who want to run Windows via Boot Camp alongside macOS, and anyone looking for a compact Pro for office work, programming and photos.

On a device that is around six years old, the battery matters. We test it on every unit. The selection is small and changes. A 1-year warranty and 14-day returns are included.

Its successor with an Apple chip is the MacBook Pro (Late 2020); more model years are listed under MacBook Pro.
