Send in or hand in

You can either bring your device to a store for repair in person, send it to us by mail, or have it picked up by bicycle courier (if available). You'll find further information in your confirmation email. If the repair exceeds your set cost limit, you'll receive a new quote.

Receive your device by mail

Your device will be repaired and returned to you by mail.

General information

  • Our customers are generally not required to share their passwords with us. This is only necessary if they need help with data backup or troubleshooting software errors.
  • A flat rate of CHF 90 will be charged for repairs not carried out.
  • If no defects can be identified, we charge a processing fee of CHF 90, even during the warranty period.
  • If it is technically impossible to create a backup or recover data, we charge a processing fee of CHF 75.
  • Orders must be paid for at the latest upon collection, or in advance for shipping.
  • For all repairs, we provide a 90-day warranty on the replaced hardware
  • Revendo AG assumes no liability for consequential defects that are not related to the repair, as well as for repairs to vintage devices.
  • There is no warranty claim for repairs to damaged devices (e.g. liquid, fall).
  • Repairs up to CHF 90 will be carried out without consultation with the customer.
  • If the repair costs exceed the customer's budget, we will send a specific quote in advance.
  • We cover the shipping costs from the customer to us. However, under certain circumstances, the return shipping costs may be charged to the customer.
  • The customer will receive further information, a shipping label and an invoice by email.
  • We can only handle orders and repairs from Switzerland. Unfortunately, shipping abroad is not possible.

Frequently Asked Questions about Repair & Warranty

How long is the warranty on my device?

Our devices come with a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, but not damage caused by improper use, drops, liquids, or normal wear and tear.

What is included in the warranty and what is not?

The warranty covers defects that occur without external influence. Damage caused by drops, liquids, broken displays, normal wear and tear, and repairs by third parties or the user is not covered.

How do I report a warranty claim?

Simply contact us by email at info@revendo.ch or bring your device to a branch. We'll check it free of charge and inform you about the next steps. Please bring or send your order confirmation with you.

Can I get my device repaired if it's no longer under warranty?

Yes, we also repair devices outside of warranty. Before starting, we will inform you of the estimated costs and only carry out the repair if you agree.

Does the fault diagnosis cost anything?

The diagnosis is free if you have the repair carried out. If you decide against it, a small processing fee may apply, which we will inform you about beforehand.

How much does a repair cost, and will I receive a cost estimate beforehand?

You will receive a cost estimate before any repair. No costs will be incurred without your consent.

How long does a repair take?

The repair time depends on the damage and the device. Many repairs are possible within a few days, sometimes even on the same day. If parts need to be ordered, we will inform you of the expected time.

Do you use original parts or third-party replacement parts?

We use high-quality replacement parts, either original parts (where available) or tested components from certified manufacturers. We'll advise you on which option is best for your device.

Can you repair water damage?

We can assess and often repair water damage. However, since liquids can cause further damage, permanent stability cannot be guaranteed. We will provide you with transparent information about the chances of success.

Do displays always need to be completely replaced?

In modern devices, the display is usually replaced as a complete unit to ensure color quality and touch functionality.

Can I get a replacement device while my device is being repaired?

Depending on the branch and availability, we can offer you a replacement device. Just ask us so we can check.

What happens to my data during the repair?

We do not delete any data without prior consultation. However, we recommend creating a backup before submitting your data, as it may be impossible to recover data in the event of severe damage.

Do I need to send the device in, or can I drop it off at a branch?

Both are possible. You can drop it off in person at a branch or send it securely packaged by mail. Please keep the shipping confirmation.

What happens if a repair is not possible?

If a repair doesn't make technical or economic sense, we'll discuss alternatives such as device exchange or buyback. The decision is yours.
