Revendo wins the Prix SVC North Switzerland 2021
The Swiss Venture Club (SVC) is one of the largest entrepreneur networks in Switzerland and is committed to promoting SMEs. With the Prix SVC, it honors outstanding companies in various regions that impress with entrepreneurial spirit, sustainable growth, and social responsibility. The award is considered one of the most prestigious entrepreneurial prizes in Switzerland and is granted by an independent expert jury. In 2021, the 10th edition took place in the North Switzerland region.
After a two-hour presentation of all finalists, SVC President Andreas Gerber announced: Revendo is the winner.
Bernhard B. Fischer, SVC Regional Manager North Switzerland and jury member, emphasized in his laudation: “The victory is above all an award for the fact that Revendo is not just an ordinary smartphone and computer retailer. The company’s motivation is not solely based on the size of the sales market, but rather on making a statement against the throwaway society.”

Fischer named three factors that significantly shaped the jury’s decision. On sustainability: “The two founders decided to engage in a special kind of recycling that has gained recognition in recent years under the term ‘upcycling.’ Upcycling conserves resources, reduces energy consumption, and lowers our need for new products.” On growth: “What started seven years ago as a two-person start-up with an online shop has meanwhile grown into an impressive SME with over 120 employees and nine branches, establishing itself as an important employer beyond the North Switzerland region.” And on the shopping experience: “Revendo offers the perfect mix between online services and in-store service. The company has linked its online and offline sales with an appropriate marketing strategy and is thus able to address a broad customer base.”
