1. The Arrival & the Data Detox
Whether you dropped off your device at one of our stores or sent it by mail, your privacy is our top priority. Before anything else happens, we ensure that all your personal data is completely and securely erased. Even if you've already reset it (which we recommend!), we double-check to make sure the device is a blank slate for the new owner.
2. Meet MATT: The robot with the eagle eye
Now things get high-tech. Your device will be introduced to MATT , our state-of-the-art testing robot.
MATT is not just a machine; it is the heart of our quality control. While human eyes are good, MATT offers a precision that guarantees every single function is objectively tested.
- Precision test: MATT physically tests the touchscreen, presses buttons, checks the cameras and analyzes the battery health.

3. The human touch: Swiss experts
Once MATT has completed the heavy-duty technical work, we hand your device over to our experts. While robots are great for functional testing, the trained eye of a human is needed for a detailed visual assessment and overall aesthetic impression.
Our team, based here in Switzerland , carries out the final "grading" (visual evaluation). They examine the case for scratches, check its aesthetics, and perform a deep cleaning.
Should the device require repair to meet our standards, our certified technicians will take care of it. This combination of robotic precision and human care defines the Revendo standard .
4. Dressed up for the new appearance
Once the device is technically sound and spotlessly clean, it is "wrapped up". We don't just throw it into a bubble mailer.
