FAQ Nothing Phone refurbished

Let’s take a look together at the benefits and important considerations when buying.

What makes the design of the Nothing Phone so unique?

The most striking feature is the transparent back, which reveals the internal components, combined with the "Glyph Interface." This is a system of over 900 LEDs that light up in specific patterns to show you who's calling, your battery level, or whether you have messages – all without having to look at the display.

What operating system does the Nothing Phone use?

The Nothing Phone runs on a customized version of Android called Nothing OS. It offers a virtually unmodified Android experience with some unique enhancements and optimizations for a smooth and intuitive user interface.

What are the differences between the Nothing Phone (1), (2) and (2a)?

The Nothing Phone (1) was the innovative entry into the mid-range market. The Nothing Phone (2) is the premium upgrade with a significantly more powerful processor, brighter glyphs, and a rounded glass back for enhanced comfort. The Nothing Phone (2a) is the budget-friendly option, offering the iconic design but omitting some premium features like wireless charging to deliver the best value.

When was the first Nothing Phone released?

The first Nothing Phone, known as the Nothing Phone (1), was released on July 12, 2022. Nothing is a company founded by Carl Pei, the co-founder of OnePlus. The company focuses on developing innovative and thoughtfully designed technology products.

What distinguishes the Nothing Phone from an iPhone or Samsung phone?

While iPhones and Samsung phones often opt for conservative, minimalist designs, Nothing deliberately breaks with these norms and targets individualists and tech enthusiasts who want to avoid "boredom." Technically, it often offers better value for money than the major flagship models, without sacrificing high-quality workmanship using aluminum and glass.

Is the Nothing Phone durable?

The Nothing Phone is made from high-quality materials, including Gorilla Glass on the front and back. Despite its unique design, it offers the durability you would expect from a modern smartphone. However, as with any device, it is recommended to use a protective case and screen protector for added protection.

Is a used Nothing Phone reliable?

Absolutely. Since Nothing Phones have only been on the market for a few years, the used devices are often very recent models with modern hardware. Our technicians at Revendo thoroughly test every device – especially the Glyph interface on the back and the battery capacity – so you receive a technically flawless smartphone that feels like new.
