Are you looking to buy a new smartphone? Or will it even be your first touchscreen phone? We'll help you find your dream phone from our over 1,100 offers. A cell phone isn't just about the outside, but also its inner qualities. Smartphones can be distinguished by over twenty other product features besides design. This is where we can help: On this page, you can filter our extensive range according to a variety of features. It's lightning fast by clicking on your desired criteria in the left navigation bar. In just a few steps, you'll get an overview of all devices that meet your requirements. You can then sort the displayed smartphones by price, newness, or (positive) reviews. Once you're clear about your personal must-haves, you can quickly narrow down your selection. However, we can't do the following for you: Android, iOS, Nokia OS, or Blackberry? This is a fundamental question. The phone's operating system not only determines ease of use, but also which apps are pre-installed on the device and which can be downloaded later. The majority of available smartphones use Android or Android ONE, the operating system developed by Google. Apple, BlackBerry, and Nokia, on the other hand, rely on their own developments: iOS, Nokia OS, and BlackBerry OS. You can find valuable tips online about which operating system is best for you. Do you only need your mobile phone occasionally, or are you a heavy user? The answer is crucial when it comes to processor power, storage and battery capacity, as well as the supported mobile network standard. The performance of the processor determines how quickly your favorite app loads and runs. This is especially important when playing (VR) games. The mobile network standards supported by the device influence how fast you can surf the web (filter "Mobile Network Standard"). The more often you use your phone, the more battery capacity [mAh] it needs (filter "Capacity"). If you plan to keep your phone loyal to you for more than nine months, a model with a replaceable battery is worthwhile (filter "Battery Properties"). These can start to wear out after one or two years. Do you love the multimedia world? The more photos you take and the more important an extensive music library is to you, the more storage you should have (filter "Storage Capacity"). The option for optional (internal) storage expansion (filter "Expandable Storage") is always a plus. As a photography enthusiast, you can filter our mobile phone selection specifically by camera features (filter "Camera" and "Front/Front Camera Resolution"). Do you enjoy sports and don't shy away from rainy weather? Then shock or water resistance (filter "Protection Class/IP Code") can also be a decisive criterion in your search. Ultimately, the perfect smartphone is the one that offers you everything that is most important to you at an attractive price. We wish you lots of fun searching and choosing, and hope you find the device you're looking for with us.

Aspect ratio

In the broader sense, aspect ratio refers to the ratio of at least two sides of a polygon of different lengths. It usually refers to the ratio of the width of a rectangle, screen, or canvas to its height. A square has an aspect ratio of 1:1 because both sides are the same length. In video, this is also referred to as the aspect ratio.

Color depth
i

Color depth

Color depth determines an essential property of raster and vector graphics: the differentiation of all brightness and color values. The maximum possible number of (color) gradations is specified in bits and thus designates the color depth of an image. These gradations represent a scale on which the actual color information is stored. Color depth is therefore the mathematical basis of the actual color information. In practice, an image never contains the number of colors available within the scope of this scale (color depth). A color depth of 1 bit would mean that exactly two states would be possible in each color channel (usually red, green, and blue on a computer screen). For example, for the red color channel, these would be black and red. With a color depth of 2 bits, four states would be possible: black, dark red, medium red, and light red. With the common color depth of 8 bits, 28 = 256 states are possible, and thus just as many individual shades of red.

24 bit (16.7 million colors)

True color is a term used in computer technology (graphics cards) and refers to a color depth of 24 bits (3×8 bits, corresponding to 224 ≈ 16.78 million colors). Images with this color depth create a natural impression for the human viewer.

i

GSM frequency bands

GSM frequency bands or frequency ranges are the radio spectrum frequencies designated by the ITU for the operation of the GSM for mobile phones.Global System for Mobile communications (GSM: originally from Groupe Spécial Mobile) is the most popular standard for mobile phones in the world. Its promoter, the GSM Association, estimates that 82% of the global mobile market uses the standard. GSM is used by over 3 billion people across more than 212 countries and territories. Its ubiquity makes international roaming very common between mobile phone operators, enabling subscribers to use their phones in many parts of the world. GSM differs from its predecessors in that both signaling and speech channels are digital, and thus is considered a second generation (2G) mobile phone system. This has also meant that data communication was easy to build into the system.

The new 802.11ac standard is scheduled for adoption in 2013. Its main advantage over 802.11n is faster data transmission, with a gross data rate of up to 6900 Mbps. However, good devices can achieve three times the net speed of 3-stream MiMO devices. Data transmission occurs exclusively in the 5 GHz band and requires a larger channel width of 80 MHz, with an optional channel width of 160 MHz.

SIM

SIM

The SIM card (Subscriber Identity Module) is a chip card that is inserted into a mobile phone and serves to identify the user within the network. Mobile phone providers use it to provide subscribers with mobile phone connections and data connections. The SIM represents the second unit of the mobile station in GSM. It is a small processor with memory (usually in ID-000 format, which is cut from an ID-1 format card). It is protected against unauthorized use by a changeable PIN. The SIM is used to assign the mobile equipment (usually the mobile phone) to a user, who then authenticates the user. Secret numbers and algorithms are stored on the SIM for this purpose. These are then also used to encrypt voice and signaling data (ciphering). The SIM also serves to store temporary, network-related data, as well as preferred and blocked networks. A phone book and notebook, memory for Short Message Service (SMS) messages, and a memory for the last called phone numbers can also be integrated.

Dual SIM
i

Dual SIM

A dual SIM mobile phone is one which has two Subscriber Identity Modules (SIMs). Dual-SIM adapters are available to allow cellphones to contain two SIMs, and to switch from one to the other as required. Some phones are designed to work with two SIMs, both of which may be active at the same time.

Hello, the Huawei Mate 20 doesn't come with a case. I ordered it as an accessory.

Still unanswered questions from customers

User alan1990

Holy cow...about a week or two ago it was still over 700 CHF, and now the price has dropped like this? Sure, prices fluctuate from time to time and then drop permanently to this level, but if I had spent more than 700...that would be a damn bitter pill to swallow.

Best phablet ever, for work or play.

A worthy successor to the Mate 9... Awesome device. The LCD screen is first class.

Not bad...

The pixel density is extremely low for such a large phablet, and it's noticeable. I think it's a shame that an OLED panel wasn't used here. Otherwise, the phone is super handy and ideal for watching movies.

Very good phone

I managed to snag the phone on sale for CHF 599. Unbeatable for the price. No OnePlus or other devices come close. If you don't need wireless charging, 3D Face Unlock like Apple, OLED, etc., the Mate 20 is more than enough. While OLED is nice to look at, with rich colors, etc., I have to say the Mate 20's LCD panel is excellent. The brightness in auto mode, in particular, is mercilessly bright. Colors are spot-on, not overly saturated. You can also use the beloved headphone jack 😀
Supports chargers from 5 to 40 Watts with USB PD.
