Together with the Basel-Stadt Trade Association and social services, we create opportunities to enter the job market.

Not everyone has the same easy access to the Swiss job market. That is why, at Revendo, we work with institutions such as social services and the Basel-Stadt Trade Association to enable job seekers to gain a low-threshold entry through so-called work placements. A work placement lowers the barrier for both sides: companies get to know new talent in practice, while job seekers can show what they are capable of.

For us, this is Revendo culture in action: creating opportunities where they are needed and leading by example.

An award that belongs to the entire team - from the repair station to the store counter.

For our approach of refurbishing used Electronics instead of disposing of them, the Basel-Stadt Trade Association honored us with the Klima Award Basel-Stadt 2025 at St. Jakob-Park. Only a few of us stood on stage, but the award was intended for the entire team.

Because a second life is not created in one department, but by many hands: in Repair and Technology, Quality Assurance, Logistics, Customer Service, and Stores. That is exactly what we mean when we talk about meaningful work - every role at Revendo visibly contributes to the same goal.

Developing talent is not a side project

We continue to support the training of our apprentices as an integral part of our commitment. Anyone who starts an apprenticeship with us is part of the team from day one - with their own tasks, their own responsibilities, and colleagues who make time for questions.

Learning on real devices

Our apprentices work in the Store, advise customers, accept devices, inspect and grade them, and help give them a second life. They therefore learn about the circular economy not from textbooks, but on real iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks - and quickly realize that their work directly contributes to our sustainability goal.

Time we make for them

To make this possible, learning days are a fixed part of everyday work: additional time for training, exam preparation, and personal development. This is complemented by on-site vocational trainers, regular discussions, and the opportunity to get to know different areas.

Training takes place in our Stores in Basel, Bern, Lucerne, St. Gallen, Winterthur, and Zurich. Many of our former apprentices now continue to work with us in sales, technology, or customer service - and are already passing their knowledge on to the next generation themselves.
