Pijama, founded in 2006 by Monica Battistella and Sergio Gobbi, specialises in the production of colourful and unique sleeves. The idea of reusing unused fabric stocks available in Milan and the surrounding area originally led to the creation of scratch-resistant soft cases for Powerbooks, iPods and vinyl discs, which were later extended to all Apple products. Over time, Pijama has evolved and now offers a wide range of products that go beyond the device market. Pijama's sleeves are characterised by their three-layer structure of polyester jersey, neoprene and the outer fabric that determines the final look. Each material is treated with curiosity and a passion for creative experimentation. Pijama stands for trend awareness and uniqueness. The headquarters and studio have been located in Milan since 2010, and the soft cases and bags are produced in a family-run factory near the city. The majority of fabric suppliers are also located in northern Italy, making Pijama a brand with local and sustainable aspirations.
